Con su publicaci\u00f3n, la reforma entr\u00f3 oficialmente en vigencia, marcando el inicio de una nueva etapa en la pol\u00edtica migratoria ecuatoriana.<br><br>Lo que originalmente fue una legislaci\u00f3n reconocida a nivel internacional por su car\u00e1cter humanitario, progresista y garantista ha dado paso a un marco normativo m\u00e1s restrictivo, con un enfoque centrado en la seguridad nacional y el control de los flujos migratorios.<br><br>Para distintos analistas migratorios del pa\u00eds, esta reforma marca un cambio relevante en el enfoque de la movilidad humana en Ecuador.<br><br>La reforma contempla:<br>24 art\u00edculos reformados parcial o totalmente.<br>4 art\u00edculos nuevos incorporados.<br>1 art\u00edculo derogado de manera integral.<br><br>En total, 29 disposiciones legales fueron modificadas o creadas dentro de este cuerpo normativo.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ecuador\u2019s President, Daniel Noboa, enacted the Organic Reform Law to the Organic Law on Human Mobility (LOMH), which was published in the Official Registry on October 24, 2025, after being approved during the second debate by the National Assembly with 88 affirmative votes. Originally recognized internationally for its humanitarian, progressive, and rights-based approach, the law has now evolved into a more restrictive regulatory framework, with a stronger focus on national security and the control of migration flows. According to various migration analysts in the country, this reform represents a significant shift in the approach to human mobility in Ecuador. The reform includes:24 articles partially or fully amended.4 new articles incorporated.1 article completely repealed.
