El presidente de Ecuador, Daniel Noboa, sancion\u00f3 la Ley Org\u00e1nica Reformatoria a la Ley Org\u00e1nica de Movilidad Humana (LOMH), publicada el 24 de octubre de 2025 en el Registro Oficial, tras haber sido aprobada en segundo debate por la Asamblea Nacional con 88 votos afirmativos. Con su publicaci\u00f3n, la reforma entr\u00f3 oficialmente en vigencia, marcando el inicio de una nueva etapa en la pol\u00edtica migratoria ecuatoriana.
Lo que originalmente fue una legislaci\u00f3n reconocida a nivel internacional por su car\u00e1cter humanitario, progresista y garantista ha dado paso a un marco normativo m\u00e1s restrictivo, con un enfoque centrado en la seguridad nacional y el control de los flujos migratorios.
Para distintos analistas migratorios del pa\u00eds, esta reforma marca un cambio relevante en el enfoque de la movilidad humana en Ecuador.
La reforma contempla:
24 art\u00edculos reformados parcial o totalmente.
4 art\u00edculos nuevos incorporados.
1 art\u00edculo derogado de manera integral.
