Direct communication and SIRME registration: Authorities have asked Mexican citizens to update their information in the Registration System for Mexicans Abroad (SIRME) in order to maintain direct communication and receive official updates. Security recommendations: The SRE urged Mexican nationals to remain in safe locations, avoid conflict zones, keep travel documents valid and accessible, store digital copies of personal documents, keep mobile phones charged, and follow instructions issued by local authorities. Flight and mobility assistance: Due to possible airspace closures, diplomatic missions have advised travelers to check directly with airlines regarding flight status before heading to airports.
