The proposal was adopted with 511 votes in favour, 87 against, and 61 abstentions, following nearly ten years of negotiations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">La reforma establece que las prestaciones por desempleo de los trabajadores transfronterizos ser\u00e1n asumidas por el pa\u00eds donde hayan cotizado. Asimismo, ampl\u00eda de tres a seis meses el per\u00edodo durante el cual estas prestaciones podr\u00e1n exportarse cuando el trabajador traslade su residencia a otro Estado miembro.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Adem\u00e1s, el nuevo marco refuerza la coordinaci\u00f3n entre los Estados miembros mediante la simplificaci\u00f3n de procedimientos, el intercambio de informaci\u00f3n y medidas para mejorar el control del fraude.
