Spain: Government Begins Extraordinary Regularization Process for Foreign Nationals
Spain’s Ministry of Inclusion, Social Security and Migration has initiated the procedures for an extraordinary regularization process aimed at foreign nationals residing in Spain, according to information published on its official website. The initiative is being carried out within the current legal framework and responds to the administrative situation of part of the foreign population in the country.
According to the Ministry, the process originates from a Popular Legislative Initiative (ILP) that was admitted for consideration after obtaining the required number of signatures. The Government indicated that the measure could have an impact on administrative, labor, and Social Security matters by facilitating access to residence and work permits.
