Argentina: Updates to National ID Cards and Passports Starting February 2026
Starting February 1, 2026, Argentina will introduce updates to its National Identity Documents (DNI) and passports, incorporating new features aimed at enhancing security and aligning with international standards.
The new DNI will include updated holograms, tactile printing elements, and full laser engraving, adding stronger verification and security features.
Meanwhile, the passport will incorporate a polycarbonate data page with advanced technology and three levels of security measures.
These updates aim to reduce fraud and streamline identity and immigration controls.
